Laura Cibilich // Design Director
A designer with over 12 years experience, Laura has an extensive knowledge of strategic design, advertising and brand application, with particular expertise in brand ideation and typography. Laura has experience working across multiple international brands and she has created work for clients including Lego, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Canon (New Zealand and Australia), Kelly Tarlton’s, Jagermeister, Mattel and Te Puia (formerly the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute).
Since founding Designstein in 2008 and recently rebranding to Run in 2016, Laura has orchestrated the launch of many successful brands and products, including the launch of New Zealand’s first indoor trampoline fun park, Jump. She has also been commissioned to create collateral for the annual worldwide conference Semi-Permanent.
Laura is a talented, multi-disciplined designer and exhibiting artist, having her work showcased in art events like Bi-ennia Art In The Dark, ARTvent exhibition at Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter and the No. 8 Wire National Art Awards Show. She has a passion for helping clients grow and build their business. Laura’s inherent knowledge of brand ideation and strategic based thinking helps her cross navigate media channels in the implementation of branding and identity projects on any scale, small or large.
Raymond McKay // Creative Director
Raymond has worked at the highest level of advertising for more than 10 years, alongside some of the world’s most awarded creative directors.
After graduating from AUT University with a Communications Degree, Raymond was hired to work as a creative at Colenso BBDO, consistently ranked in the top three most creative agencies in the world. He further honed his craft as an Art Director in the biggest and most respected advertising agencies in New Zealand and Australia, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Clemenger BBDO, Lowe, Draft FCB, DDB, and 99.
During his career Raymond worked on global brand and retail accounts including Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue, Emirates, McDonald’s, TV3, Sky TV, Toyota, The Warehouse, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Frucor, Fonterra, Placemakers, Les Mills and various other international brands.
Raymond is also the creative behind Wellington’s now iconic ‘Blown Away’ sign. Experienced in a variety of categories and disciplines, Raymond thrives on any creative business challenge. Exposure to all facets of advertising and strategy, has enabled him to effectively navigate the gap between traditional and digital communications.
