Laura was recently included as the only New Zealander in the Campaign Asia-Pacific Woman to Watch 2018 list, awarded for being an outstanding female high achiever in the marketing, advertising and communications industry across Asia-Pacific. A designer with over 14 years experience, she has an extensive knowledge of strategic design, advertising and brand application, with particular expertise in brand ideation and typography. Laura is a professional DINZ (Designers Institute of NZ) member and has experience working across multiple international brands, creating work for clients including Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Kelly Tarlton’s, Westpac,Plunket, Lego, Puma, Wilson Parking, Canon (New Zealand and Australia), Mattel and Te Puia (one of New Zealand’s top tourism attractions).
Since founding RUN in 2008 (then Designstein), Laura has orchestrated the launch of many successful brands, including an extensive biodiversity project in the Pacific for the FAO of the United Nations. She has also been commissioned to create work for the annual worldwide industry conference Semi-Permanent, and is a talented, multi-disciplined designer.

Recently named as one of Campaign Asia Pacific’s 40 Under 40 in 2018, Raymond has worked at the highest level of advertising, alongside some of the world’s most awarded creative directors. He is one of the few creatives of Maori/Polynesian descent in the advertising industry in the world giving him a different viewpoint culturally, a bonus in the ever-changing kiwi landscape. After graduating from AUT University with a Degree in Bachelor of Communications Studies, Raymond was quickly hired to work as a creative at Colenso BBDO, consistently ranked in the top three most creative agencies in the world. He further honed his craft as an Art Director in the biggest and most respected advertising agencies in New Zealand and Australia, including Saatchi and Saatchi, Clemenger BBDO, TBWA Whybin, Lowe, Draft FCB, DDB and 99.
During his career Raymond has worked on global brand and retail advertising accounts including Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue, Emirates, McDonald’s, TV3, Sky TV, Toyota, The Warehouse, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Frucor, Fonterra, Placemakers, ASB Bank, Les Mills and many more. In particular he has vast experience working on Air New Zealand for many years across brand, retail and internal advertising campaigns.
Raymond is also the creative behind Wellington’s iconic ‘Blown Away’ sign, chosen by public vote and commissioned by the Wellington Airport as a gift to the windy city. Experienced in a variety of categories and disciplines, Raymond thrives on any creative business challenge. Exposure to all facets of advertising, has enabled him to effectively navigate the gap between traditional and digital communications.
