RUN started out as a branding and graphic design studio over 10 years ago, and has since grown into a fast growing strategic advertising and design agency. The businesses and organisations we work with range from small innovative startups to multinational-partnered global companies from around the world. We partner with our clients to ensure the delivery of all communication is original, relevant and meaningful to their audience. We aim to enhance a brand’s customer experience and facilitate social interactions with their target audience. Strategy plays a huge role in how we roll out product and campaign launches for clients, however this is amplified by the creative process, to win the hearts and minds of the people who use, share and engage.


Laura Cibilich // Design Director

Laura founded RUN (formerly Designstein) in 2008 and since then has orchestrated the launch of many successful brands and products, including New Zealand’s first indoor trampoline fun park, Jump. She has also been commissioned to create collateral for the annual worldwide conference Semi-Permanent.

With her strong design background Laura has an extensive knowledge of strategic design, graphic design and brand application, with particular expertise in brand identity and typography. She has experience working across multiple international brands and has created work for clients including The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Niue Tourism, 2degrees, Lego, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Canon, Puma, Kelly Tarlton’s, Jagermeister, Mattel, Pacific Trade Invest and Te Puia. Laura is a talented, multi-disciplined designer and exhibiting artist, having been sponsored to exhibit work in the ARTvent exhibition at Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter, Art in the Dark and a finalist in the Fieldays No. 8 Wire National Art Award. 

Laura has a passion for helping clients grow and build their business. Her inherent knowledge of brand ideation and strategic based thinking helps her cross navigate media channels in the implementation of creative projects on any scale, small or large.

Raymond McKay // Creative Director

Raymond is an Award-Winning Creative Director and has worked at the highest level of advertising for more than 14 years, alongside some of the world’s most awarded creative directors. 

After graduating from AUT University with a Communications Degree, Raymond was hired to work as a creative at Colenso BBDO, consistently ranked in the top three most creative agencies in the world. He further honed his craft as an Art Director in the biggest and most respected advertising agencies in New Zealand and Australia, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Clemenger BBDO, Lowe, Draft FCB, DDB, and 99. During his career Raymond worked on global brand and retail accounts including Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue, Emirates, McDonald’s, TV3, Sky TV, Toyota, The Warehouse, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Frucor, Fonterra, Placemakers, Les Mills and various other international brands. 

Raymond is also the creative behind Wellington’s now iconic ‘Blown Away’ sign. Experienced in a variety of categories and disciplines, Raymond thrives on any creative business challenge. Exposure to all facets of advertising and strategy, has enabled him to effectively navigate the gap between traditional and digital communications.
