RUN CD Raymond McKay Named In Asia-Pacific 40 Under 40
Campaign Asia-Pacific has announced their annual 40 Under 40 recipients, with Co-Founder and Creative Director of indie design and advertising agency RUN, Raymond McKay, making the list.
The 40 under 40 celebrates outstanding high achievers in the marketing, advertising and communications industry across Asia-Pacific, selecting innovative thinkers, who are helping to drive the industry forward, developing truly effective strategies and work for their companies and clients.
With close to 15 years of industry experience under his belt, Raymond is one of only a handful of Maori Creative Directors in New Zealand. Raymond spent the first 10 years of his career working in the biggest and most respected advertising networks in the world, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Clemenger BBDO, Lowe, Draft FCB, DDB, and 99. Along with his Co-Founder Laura Cibilich, Raymond has built up his own agency, RUN, from scratch.
Raymond leads the small yet diverse team at RUN, working with an impressive client list including 2degrees, Niue Tourism, and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. And it’s been a year of growth for the agency, with the number of clients on their books doubling in the last year.
"I'm humbled to be included in this amazing group of leaders in our industry, doing amazing things." says McKay.
Apart from a great career in advertising McKay has a number of other entrepreneurial pursuits including a small batch alcohol company launching late this year, an indigenous leadership film series backed by the Auckland Business Chamber and is also working on a novelty stress relief app.
Another kiwi included in the list was Dentsu Aegis Network NZ CEO Robert Harvey.
