RUN Launches ‘Get More’ Campaign for Design Assembly

Design Assembly has been the home of New Zealand visual design for 10 years and today they launch their ‘Get More Being a DA Friend’ campaign, to drive their Friend subscription model to the design and advertising industry.

Auckland creative agency RUN created the campaign, revolving around all the value received by ‘Friend’ subscribers and exaggerating it in a fun way. It plays on the amount of rewards according to the dollar amount ‘Friend’ subscribers pay – e.g. if a studio joins up for a ‘Friend Plus’ subscription (paying $2,000) they get 2,000 rewards.

The campaign includes event posters, to be handed out at events and tertiary institutes around the country, a DM piece, digital and print ads.

RUN agency co-founder Laura Cibilich, also a previous Design Assembly contributor says “I’ve personally been going along to Design Assembly events right from the start and fully support them, so was super excited when they approached us to create this campaign. It’s been created to reflect their approachable and inclusive nature and to easily be built upon over time”.

Founded by Louise Kellerman in 2009, Design Assembly helps Kiwi visual designers connect with each other, continue to learn and develop and be inspired on their individual career journeys. DA Friends receive heavy discounts on all event and workshop tickets plus free job listings, all while helping to support the NZ visual design community.

Kellerman says “Designers are a key part of design studio and creative agency teams and need to be fed creative resources - this is where Design Assembly can help. We understand their unique needs and offer support and a platform for them, tailored to their specific needs. And we’ve been doing it for 10 years.”
